WELDERS & FABRICATORS - We have doubled our sales in the past year and are needing to add to our family. We are looking for experienced stainless steel welders, grinders and fabricators. We build the highest quality tanks and vessels in the industry and only hire top talent. And if you have at least two years of experience and an attitude of learning and advancing your skills, we want you too. We fabricate in stainless and nickel alloys and you will need to be able to TIG and Pulse MIG weld.

GRINDERS - We are also looking for finishing grinders who can grind and polish to at least 150 grit and we have many applications up to 320 grit. We all know that it takes real talent and desire to be the best metal finisher. We prefer at least two years of experience and are willing to work with the right applicate to train them and bring them along.

Engineering Design Coordinator - Responsible for checking documents for accuracy based on internal project quotations, customer provided specifications, design calculations and established manufacturing & design standards. The types of documents include drawings, purchasing bills of material and manufacturing cut sheets. These documents are created by multiple CAD Designers. Coordinator will ensure all CAD & design standards, and department work procedures are being followed and improved upon.

  • Requires an associate/bachelor's degree in mechanical CAD design.

    Specialized Knowledge and Experience
  • Minimum of five years CAD design experience in a mechanical manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with AutoCAD 2020 or later
  • Experience with Inventor 2020 or later
  • Minimum of five years supervisory experience in a CAD related field.
  • Minimum of three years design drawing checking experience
  • Must be able to check design drawings with extreme thoroughness while paying strict attention to detail. Drawings must be checked for accuracy of information in accordance with customer specifications along with various applicable design and construction codes.
  • Must have knowledge in the creation and training of proper CAD standards.
  • Must have knowledge and ability to customize AutoCAD and Inventor for improved workflow.
  • Must have excellent knowledge of and the ability to utilize Microsoft Office suite computer programs.
  • Must have the ability to manage multiple design projects with varying priority levels.

Work Schedule

CAD Designer - Watson Metal Masters, Inc. (WMMI) is currently taking applications for the position of CAD Designer. Come join our team as we provide quality stainless steel tanks for the Petroleum, Chemical, Food & Dairy, and Pharmaceutical industries. We are a family owned and oriented company with 125 plus employees, and we continue to grow. WMMI has recently completed a construction project that tripled our manufacturing floor capacity.     The successful candidate will be able to:
  • Design stainless steel vessels and equipment using CAD software.
  • Develop customer drawings, purchasing Bills of Material (BOMs), manufacturing cut-sheets, and other related engineering documents.
  • Update fabrication drawings to meet customer needs and internal standards.
  • Must be a problem solver and able to work with a team.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with the Sales and Production team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to help the WMMI team.
Work experience and educational requirements:
  • Associates degree in Computer-Aided Drafting and Design is required. Bachelors degree in Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD) or a Mechanical Engineering degree is preferred.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Mechanical 2014 or newer is required. Working knowledge of Autodesk Inventor 2014 or newer is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in stainless steel equipment design required. An equivalent combination of related education and work experience may be taken into consideration.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office suite.

MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR - Watson Metal Masters, Inc. has an opening for a full time Maintenance Supervisor.
We are looking for a knowledgeable person with years of experience in our industry.     Duties to include but not limited to:
  • Will be an independent thinker capable of fully running the department
  • Must be familiar with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical (including reading electrical prints), electronics, and plumbing
  • Must have good trouble shooting skills
  • Have CNC diagnostics and repair capabilities
  • Be able to diagnose and repair Air Liquide CNC welders, Ronzani CNC Spin Polisher, Boldrini Flanger, Water Jet, TIG welding machines, Pulse welding machines, shears, press brakes and tank turning rolls
  • This position is also responsible for the building maintenance and supervising a team of 3-5 maintenance techs over 2-3 shifts

FIELD OPERATIONS MANAGER - Watson Metal Masters, Inc. has an opening for a full time Field Operations Manager. We are looking for a knowledgeable person with many years of experience in our industry. The position is for a seasoned field tank fabricator with a management background. Pay is commensurate with experience and we offer great benefits along with an exciting, enjoyable work place. We are a family first company, who puts our people first. The right candidate will have been a field job supervisor or field manager. We build field tanks using the lift pole method and electric chain hoists operated by a central control panel. We also built in restricted access environments and offer a full complement of tank services.

    Duties to include but not limited to:
  • Will be an independent thinker capable of fully running the field division.
  • Must be familiar with the complexities of field conditions and the ever changing work place.
  • Will interface with all departments of our company and deal directly with the customer while on the job site.
  • Will set up local support vendors for equipment rental and return. Set up travel for the crew.
  • Requires a Class A CDL drivers license to pull the job trailers.
  • Read blue prints
  • Interact with customer inspectors and AI for ASME Code constructed vessels.
  • Requires all OSHA training and safety compliances.
  • Be flexible and adjust on the fly as required. Motivate your crew, build within the allotted labor hours and time frame.

SALESPERSON - Watson Metal Masters is looking for an additional full time Seasoned Outside Salesperson. At least five years of experience in stainless steel tank sales is preferred. Will be responsible for key accounts and a geographical territory. Benefits package includes: high compensation, commission structure, bonuses, plus all the benefits listed above. SHOP SUPERVISOR - The right candidate will be a self-driven, highly motivated, goal orientated and company minded individual to promote company values to the employees. Willing to take betterment classes both personally and professionally for constant improvement of skills and management techniques. Need to be able to multitask due to the number of employees and projects to manage at one time. Must project confidence at all times even during times of adversity to maintain positive attitude with shop employees. Good attendance and punctuality is a must in this position. Need to have at least 3 years in manufacturing management, at least 5 years of stainless steel vessel fabrication background in all aspects from layout to completion and at least 5 years in blueprint reading. Must be able to trouble shoot fabrication, welding and grinding issues to keep projects moving forward with little or no assistance. Must be able to follow instructions set forth by the Manufacturing Manager and use those instructions to lead the shop employees to efficiently and effectively produce high quality custom fabricated products in a timely manner. Must be able to lead and manage 15 to 20 employees. Need to have basic computer skills and be able to send and receive emails and do time collecting functions for payroll.
